So recently I made a new friend. I felt like a little kid going over and saying “Hi my name is Esther”. I met Kelly through another friend when I read about her adoption fundraiser. She has a blog about her adoption process also, called A Little Bit of Pink. I messaged Kelly and asked if she wanted to meet up to discuss our fundraising adventures. We did and it has been fun becoming better friends with her ever since then.

It’s always nice to talk to someone who is going through some of the same things you are and even though Kelly and her family are adopting from China many of the process are similar. And then there is the waiting. Kelly, her husband John and their sons David and Michael are waiting to add little Naiya to their family. Waiting is hard and they have been waiting for about a year now.  Kelly is an awesome friend although I have only known her for about 2 months. She just became a Thirty One consultant and has generously offered to do a fundraiser sale for us in the month of September. I will post more about this very soon. But I just wanted to tell everyone how grateful I am to have a new friend in Kelly. The Lord has blessed me through her already.
